Monday is family day in most of Canada. Other provinces call it something different, but for most its a holiday. Banks, schools, government offices are closed. Sure it is nice to get a break in the middle of winter, but really, this holiday is an excuse for those poor overpaid, under worked government workers to have a day off. March break for the kids starts in a few weeks. Parents will have 10 days to enjoy time with the kids or dread it. So if you are off this Monday, enjoy, if you are working, remember our government officials are off!
